Dream Come True | HUSH for John Lewis

My love of lounge-wear only really took hold shortly after having my first bubs in 2006. In a constant state of “is it day or night?”, not knowing if I was sleep walking or actually awake in the stupor that can only come in those early weeks of motherhood – I yearned for, and very much needed, to envelope myself in luxury – super comfy luxury. As if all my 3am prayers had been answered (not the ones about having a sleeping baby) I stumbled upon Hush – at the time selling swoon-worthy PJs, sheepskin slippers and a couple of super soft jersey basics. I was smitten, even buying my new little, non-sleeping bundle matching pinstripe PJs long before twinning was considered winning or even a concept at all!

10 years on and I’m spoilt for choice when it comes to the Hush collection – from biker jackets to harem trousers and jersey dresses to star print jumpers. Hush has a magical touch when it comes to taking classical must-haves and giving them a contemporary, covetable edge.

Hush’s ethos is that looking good is a really important component of feeling good and vice-versa, never more so when you’re a new mum! From the muted tones, comfortable fit and deliciously scented packaging – Hush is all about the classic details.

So, imagine my delight on hearing the news that the lovelies over at Hush have collaborated with one of my other all time loves… my temple that restores my inner peace and balance, allows me to be a better wife and mother, all whilst deliberating over the teacher’s end of year gifts – John Lewis. Someone in the universe (or maybe just the fab collaborations dept.) was seriously on the ball with this uber-mashup of accessible, sumptuously soft luxury.

Available in-store and online, the Hush exclusive collection hand selected for John Lewis brings together all the lushest of Hush’s wardrobe offerings. Here’s just a few of my favourite pieces from their AW16 edit…

This post has been in collaboration with John Lewis to bring you their latest collaboration… As always, all opinions and comments are wholly my own X
