Don’t Forget The Kids | Fatface Kids Range Now from 2-3 Years {Sponsored}

I originally started blogging as a way of, as cheesy as it sounds, connecting with other mums. I’d been so lonely in 2006/2007 as a mum of two under two – with no one saying, “you’re not alone” or “me too”. But never in my wildest dreams did I imagine working with brands that I love, not just once, but building a relationship over years with not just the “brand” but the people behind it. It’s been amazing to work with Fatface since 2016 – sharing their finest grey knits, summer must-haves and ‘mumdrobe’ essentials with you, as I truly love them, and it turns out, you do too!!

Life’s Little Luxuries With Fatface

I might be flouted as “fussy” by those nearest and dearest come present buying season, even to the point I’ve renounced presents to avoid disappointment and for the simple reason I don’t need anything else in my life. This might sound annoyingly self-righteous and oh-so on-trend for banging the anti-materialistic drum, but those aren’t the foundations of my protestations. I do believe in the whole “less is more” ethos, I don’t always live it, but believe in it I do – it comes down to the fact I just really know what I like (and, more accurately what I don’t!) and get twitchy at the thought of undesired crap being thrust my way.

I feel the same when it comes to my wardrobe – not much makes the cut, there’s a few rules about what infiltrates my Trojan-like fashion fortress…

Start-Rite | A Year On | Aqua Warrior School Shoes Review

It’s crazy to think that it was a year ago I first wrote a review for Start-rite shoes – in that time our Rhino Warriors (that’s the shoes not the kids) were seriously put through the ringer and still made it out in bloomin’ amazing condition. We loved their Rhinos so much, that when the little gits’ feet decided to grow (it’s somewhat irritating that kids’ feet do that when there’s so much life left in their shoes) I bought them exactly the same again!

My Melrose Mac | Mumdrobe Must-Have #1 with FatFace

It’s not often I whoop and holler in excitement at a brightly coloured object – partly because, as a toddler mum, they usually come with flashing lights and an incredibly irritating tune. But the moment I set eyes on my Melrose Mac at Fatface HQ it was love at first sight. As a mum of footballing boys, until this season, I’ve been remarkably ill equipped on the waterproofs front, so it’s no understatement to say my new canary hued friend has been a game changer.

My Mum Holiday Wardrobe

The count down to our first ever family holiday has begun. In 3 weeks the brave crew over at Thomson Holidays will be jetting all 5 boys and us grown-ups to sunnier climes. So, this week saw me traipse into town (Brighton if I’m being precise), baby and mother in tow in search of the perfect mum garb for our jaunt to a warmer location/summer 2016. I’d tried and failed with my usually reliable online shopping, perhaps as I had quite specific requirements from my new, more revealing wardrobe…
