How to Make Memories with Tesco Clubcard #Ad

After 6 weeks of summer holidays, the remnants of my sanity can be found somewhere at the end of July, my bank balance is about as healthy as a doctors waiting room and I used all my trump activity cards throughout August. But as much as I may have bemoaned the kids for 45.5 days (who’s counting?!) I secretly loved the lazy mornings, action packed days and memories that were made – so I’ve started to look to our football-free weekends this term as mini-adventures to be had to banish the post-summer holidays blues.

Pick It and Eat It – Sugar Free Raspberry Muffins | With Robinsons #Ad

I seem to spend my life shouting “don’t pick it and eat it!”, we have one boy (who shall not be named!) who is a fan of his own organic nasal produce; so, when Robinsons asked if we wanted to go (fruit) picking and eat it – I knew I had the right kids for the job.

Summer Holiday Wardrobe With Fat Face #Ad

It’s at this time of year, with 5 more weeks of school holidays ahead of me that I start to assess how woefully ill-equipped I am for the parental mountain ascent that lay before me. My fridge stores are taking a battering, my sanity is being tested and my patience road-tripped to its outer most boundaries in a shabby, floorless tuk-tuk. But one thing’s for sure, while I slowly tear my hair out and thank the child-rearing gods that we’re all still alive at the end of each day, I’ll be suitably, and hopefully stylishly, dressed for my mission! It’s no secret that my love for Fat Face runs deep, so I teamed up with them to ensure my clothes were the least of my worries from morning through til night this summer hols.

Start-Rite | A Year On | Aqua Warrior School Shoes Review

It’s crazy to think that it was a year ago I first wrote a review for Start-rite shoes – in that time our Rhino Warriors (that’s the shoes not the kids) were seriously put through the ringer and still made it out in bloomin’ amazing condition. We loved their Rhinos so much, that when the little gits’ feet decided to grow (it’s somewhat irritating that kids’ feet do that when there’s so much life left in their shoes) I bought them exactly the same again!

Kynren Explained

If you’re anything like me a month ago, you probably haven’t heard the word Kynren, unless you’re an avid watcher of my insta-stories, in which case a couple of Thursdays ago you would’ve been bombarded with my word du jour (I’ve uploaded the stories HERE for your viewing pleasure!). So, without keeping you on the edge of your seats, what is Kynren? Kynren is an outdoor spectacular of a show, which takes place through the summer months in the beautiful, almost Teletubby Land-like, lush green hills of Bishop Auckland in County Durham; each of the 17 shows, which “start in daylight and end in starlight” crams 2000 years of British history into 90 minutes, showered with fireworks, peppered with live-stock and a cavalry of white horses to boot, all with bucket loads of nostalgia.
