Ermahgerd – it’s December! Where did that come from? For the next three weeks our weekends are filled with ice-skating, winter fairs, Santa’s grotto’s and yes, even more chilly morning football matches. So yesterday, when we had a rare football-free day, we relished the opportunity to drink bucket loads of hot choc, light the fire, snuggle under our duvets and open our box of FatFace goodies to get involved with our new Pjs and festive onsies.

I’ll be the first to admit, when FatFace got in touch with us asking if we fancied putting together a few AW outfits, my first thought was hmmmm, cream, mustard and maroon aren’t really my thang. But after perusing FatFace’s latest collection I was smitten with the soft knits, cosy greys and classic breton stripes. Then I stumbled across the lounge wear! I don’t know about you, but I dream of days chilling in my luxe lounge wear, cuppa in hand and plenty of time to finally read all those Country Living X Elle Dec. Bring on 2030 when this might happen!

Whilst yesterday wasn’t exactly relaxing, by the time I’d fed my ravenous reindeer (that’s Hugo & Bruno) a feast of mince pies every few hours and ensured their marathon of Home Alone films never came to an end – having my FatFace cosies on certainly helped with the chilled vibes.

I couldn’t resist the Weston Soft Lounge pants and hoodie – perfect for lazy days, chilled evenings, those mama days when getting out of your Pjs is just a bit of an ask (yup, we all have them) or even the school run, as no-one would actually know they’re Pjs!

My snuggly dressing gown, in my trademark grey, is so warm – when Casper insists (read: throws a tantrum until he gets his own way) on heading out to the garden for a quick swing push, gulp of fresh air or jump on the trampoline, it certainly fends off the frosty chill. Or when he just wants a mummy cuddle to help him doze off in front of the fire, it makes the perfect pillow…

As for the boys’ onsies – I can honestly say they’ve hardly taken them off! Every day when they get in from school, football or athletics – the school uniform or kit has been thrown across the floor (standard) and the onsies have gone on. I just about manage to peel them off for bedtime!

I’ll be sharing more grey and Breton outfit inspiration from our FatFace collaboration in the coming weeks – along with how I’ll be pulling off a Christmas jumper in style. But for now, after last week’s post with my ta-tas out, here’s me and my pussy…
